Welcome to JSES
The Japan Society for Educational Sociology is an academic organization established in 1950, with the aims to promote educational sociology and enhance communication for research among members. It has about 1,400 members and conducts various activities vigorously.
The annual meeting is held in the autumn every year. The Society's journal is issued twice and the newsletter is three times a year.
We welcome participation of academic researchers, practitioners and policy-makers from overseas so that the JSES will be a site of information exchange among people involved in educational sociology in East Asia widely.
