Call for presentations in English at a pilot international session of the 65th Annual Conference of the Japan Society for Educational Sociology (JSES).

The International Division of the Japan Society for Educational Sociology will have a pilot international session ' The role of sociology of education: its social impact and international perspectives' at the 65th Annual Meeting at Saitama University on September 21-22.
This session aims to promote the international activities of the JSES. The topic of the session aims a direct reflection of the role of our research activities. At the same time, we do encourage and welcome the active submission by young and new members. The Division is calling for presentations to be given at this session. Proposals and abstract should be submitted to Prof. Akiyoshi Yonezawa, Vice-Director of International Division by email (yonezawa@gsid.nagoya-u.ac.jp). The deadlines are the same with the sessions in Japanese (June 10 for proposals, and August 11 for abstracts). In case you submit to this pilot international session, you can not submit to a session in Japanese.

(1) Date: 14:10-16:10 (could be extended until 18:25 according to the number of the quality submission) on Saturday, September 21
(2) Topic of the Session: The role of sociology of education: its social impact and international perspectives
(3) Language for the Session: English
(4) Language for Abstracts and Presentation: English
(5) Length of a Presentation: 20 minutes plus 5 -minutes discussion
