About BJS Database

Japan Sociological Society (JSS) maintains a database of bibliographic information of sociological literature either written by Japanese researchers or published in Japan. 90,397 records have been collected (1) through annual self-reporting surveys of works by members of JSS and associated societies, and (2) from published bibliographies on sociology and related fields.
