1. Application Requirements
A presenter is required to be a member of Japan Comparative Education Society. A temporary member cannot be allowed to have a presentation. If you are not a member yet, please contact the address below to apply for your membership by March 17, 2019. Additionally, you are required to do payment for the annual membership fee by the end of March 2019. Payment by credit card is acceptable. 2. Duration of a Presentation
Individual Presentation:
　　20 minutes (for presentation) and 10 minutes (for discussion)

Group Presentation (Choose one of the followings):
　　a)20 minutes (for presentation) and 10 minutes (for discussion)
　　b)40 minutes (for presentation) and 20 minutes (for discussion)

B)Those who wish to deliver a presentation in English, please use the application form in English. If you deliver a presentation in Japanese, please use application form in Japanese.

C)Once you submit your presentation title including the sub-title cannot be changed.

D)Please choose the “geographical area” and/or “theme” of your research from the following table, and fill it in the application form. The conference committee will make the final arrangement.

E)There is a possibility to arrange a group with mixed languages(Japanese, English)

Important Notes:
1. If you cancel your presentation without any reason, you are not allowed to make a presentation in the following year.
2. You are not allowed to make a presentation unless you apply for the membership by the due date.

4.Abstract Submission
The abstract of your presentation should be sent by e-mail to the conference committee until April 22, 2019. You can download a format for presentation abstract from the website and send it to the committee by e-mail (PDF file only):

5.Round-table Session
You can apply for organizing a round-table session in the evening of Friday, June 7, 2019. If you plan to do so, please download an application form from the website and send it to the secretariat by e-mail until April 4, 2018 as the application for oral presentation is required.

6.Poster Session
There are no poster sessions in this conference.

The table shows the registration fee for the 55 JCES Annual Conference. Please be noted that the fee cannot be reimbursed once it is paid.

Once you register via online system, you will receive a confirmation email. Please refer to the bank account in the email, and transfer the registration fee (and also the reception fee if needed) by May 20, 2019.
The receipts of registration and reception fee will be provided on site. Please keep your bank receipt.
If you are unable to transfer the fee by May 20, 2019, you will be required to pay regular fee on the conference site. Please note that a bank transfer is not acceptable after May 21, 2019.
We strongly recommend you do your payment by credit card on our website as well.

The Cafeteria in the campus is not available during the conference. Please have lunch around the university or bring your own lunch.

Around Shinjuku station or Tachikawa station are convenient.

The venue will provide a nursing room for children's needs. However, we can't provide any service to children. If you use this room, you remain responsible for your children.
